K-pop duo EXO-SC is the second official sub-unit of the South Korean boy band . Following their first official offshoot, , EXO-SC made their debut in 2019. Comprising founding members Sehun and Chanyeol, the pair -- also known as "Exo-Se-Chan" -- issued its first EP, What a Life, in summer 2019 on parent label . Topping the Korean Gaon chart and landing in the Top 10 of the U.S. Heatseekers and World Albums charts, the six-song set remained close to 's typical sound, incorporating elements of R&B, hip-hop, and electronic pop. The EP was produced with Korean hip-hop artist and included the singles "Just Us 2" and "Closer to You."
