BIGBANG revealed their unreleased track ’FLOWER ROAD’, a new release by BIGBANG in a year and 3 months since the release of their latest official album, [MADE]. Since the song features all five members of BIGBANG, the release will be a great gift for the fans who will miss the group during their vacancy. While T.O.P, G-DRAGON, and TAEYANG already started serving their military duties, the group’s new single ‘FLOWER ROAD’ was released in the date of DAESUNG’s enlistment. BIGBANG’s leader and producer, G-DRAGON participated in the composing of the song, and collaborated with The Fliptones, who he previously worked together while creating GD X TAEYANG’s ‘GOOD BOY’ and TAEYANG’s ‘Stay With Me’. Furthermore, the lyrics written by G-DRAGON and T.O.P deliver the group’s sincerity towards their fans, who they will have to depart with for a while. Since all 5 members participated in the creation of the song, the new single is good enough to fill up hearts of people during this year’s Spring. Let’s pay close attention to BIGBANG’s sincerity while they treasure past beautiful memories as BIGBANG and promise to meet again in the future.
BIGBANG went on to debut during YG Entertainment’s YG Family 10th Anniversary Concert at the Olympic
Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. Their first single, Bigbang, contained the tracks “We Belong Together” featuring
future member of 2NE1, Park Bom, “A Fool of Tears,” and “This Love.” Both “We Belong Together” and
“This Love” were adaptations of the popular singles released by American acts Mariah Carey and Maroon 5, respectively.
Their debut had strategically adopted a contemporary, urban Western sound that was modified with a K-Pop flavor,
making it bound to be popular to both Western and Eastern audiences alike. Even with “A Fool of Tears,” the boys
stuck with the R&B slow jam vibe most popular during the early and mid-2000s. Sporting Western urban fashion wasn’t
a new practice, famously attempted by senior hip-hop group 1TYM, but Taeyang’s cornrows, the baggy pants, and large
chains made the boys look grown for a rookie group. Their smooth, clean dance moves added to their appeal.
Their second single, Bigbang is V.I.P, was released a month after and included “La La La,” “Ma Girl” by Taeyang feat.
GD and T.O.P, and “V.I.P.” “La La La” continued with the urban R&B feel that the boys were going for,
building a reputation as the mischievous but fun, magnetic bad boys in school that everyone wanted to hang out with.

G-Dragon is the first idol to do it.Before writing your own songs became a norm in the K-pop industry, most of the first few groups didn't actually write their own songs because their agency would prefer to have it done by songwriters. After the songs such as "Lies", "Last Farewell", "Haru Haru" written and composed by Gdragon turned out huge hits; agencies started giving their idols chance to write their songs.
ince then all kpop groups and agencies followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick.Bang Bong is the first lightstick in Kpop history.
Before bigbang, groups always disbanded or the member just left if one of them wants to pursuit their own career. But Bigbang proved to everyone that you don't have to leave or disband just to be able to have a stable solo career.
G-Dragon's collaboration with Flo Rida back in 2009.Although BIGBANG does not prefer to collab with westerns in BIGBANG songs, members often collaborated with foreigners on their solo tracks.
In 2011, they won MTV EMA. They beat Britney Spears that day.
